Switch 2 Price Hike Off the Table for Now, Nintendo Says
Is your Switch 2 about to cost more again?
Switch 2 sales fell 37.4% year over year, and Nintendo still won't raise the price. Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa says it's "not considering additional changes," citing enough memory to ride out the shortage.
Your Switch 2 already rose $50 in September, to $499. A PS5 now starts at $649.
Pulse check: Why trust Nintendo after September's $50 hike? No, not anytime soon. That's a win for you. Rivals keep raising prices while Nintendo says it'll hold. Pulse check: strong, if you've been waiting to buy.
