Modern Warfare 4: MW4 Switch 2 Input Lag Doubles PS5

Is MW4 on Switch 2 too laggy to compete?

Digital Foundry clocked portable multiplayer at 100 milliseconds of input lag. That's double the PS5's 49.1. Docked mode helps a little, at 81 milliseconds. The frame rate isn't the culprit, since multiplayer mostly holds 60fps.

The verdict: For ranked multiplayer, yes, it is. Your Switch 2 waits about twice as long as a PS5 to register the same trigger pull. The 30fps campaign is fine for a weekend, but ranked is where you'll feel it.
