Call of Duty Passes $40 Billion as Modern Warfare 4 Lands
Call of Duty just crossed $40 billion in lifetime revenue.
That's 23 mainline games over 24 years, and Xbox CEO Asha Sharma announced it on X. For scale, GTA 5 alone has pulled in over $10 billion across 13 years.
Modern Warfare 4 is helping too. IGN's Simon Cardy says its campaign made him feel something for the series again.
The context: Mostly, yes, and that's the point. A $69.99 release every year adds up faster than one blockbuster. Your Modern Warfare 4 copy just joined that pile.
