Modern Warfare 4's campaign is out in early access and the first reviews are glowing.
IGN calls it the best Modern Warfare has been since the 2019 reboot, by quite some distance. Sixteen missions run roughly seven hours, with a DMZ-style open mission called Stranded singled out as a highlight.
On Steam today, it sits at Very Positive, with 89 percent of 1,472 user reviews in favour. Full launch is October 23.
The context: IGN called 2023's Modern Warfare 3 campaign arguably the series' low point. Our read: this finale looks like a genuine recovery.
