Active Matter Sells 500,000 Copies in Under Six Weeks

Active Matter just passed 500,000 copies sold.

It launched September 15, so that's under six weeks, across Steam, Gaijin's own store, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Gaijin co-founder Anton Yudintsev called it a very strong result for a hardcore game, with sales holding steady since launch.

The first major update is already in the works: new maps, weapons, monsters and bosses. No date yet.

Why it matters: Steady beats spiky for a $29.99 hardcore game. Steam shows almost 7,000 players right now, so your queues won't be empty. If you've waited for more content, we'd watch for that update.
