Cyberpunk 2077 Mods Lead the 5 Biggest Gaming Stories

Five stories ran gaming this week. Ranked by how much each one changes things for you.

Hatsune Miku's puzzle game TAMAGOTORI Deluxe hits PS5 and PC soon. Charming, but niche. NBA 2K27 overtook Resident Evil Requiem as 2026's US best-seller. Sales, not features.

Cyberpunk 2077 joined Xbox Play Anywhere: buy once, play Xbox and PC. Overdue. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade joins Game Pass. Ten games leave, so play fast.

Cyberpunk's Update 2.5 brings cross-platform mod support, Switch 2 included. The week's winner.

The criterion: Mods used to stop at your PC. Update 2.5 carries them to Xbox and Switch 2, on a game that's $17.99 on Steam. That's a new way to play Night City.
