Phantom Blade Zero's PS5 Disc Won't Arrive Until 2027

Phantom Blade Zero is getting a boxed PS5 release, but not until 2027.

The catch: Push Square says the PS5 install hits 134GB. That's more than a standard Blu-ray disc holds. So expect two discs or a required download. One disc in the trailer proves nothing either way.

Three editions are coming: Standard, Deluxe and an Ultimate with a steel case. Digital lands October 29 on PS5 and PC. Steam lists it at $59.99 today, and Deluxe is $10 more.

The takeaway: Collectors waiting a year is fair. But if the disc still needs a giant download, we'd go digital day one.
