GTA 6's Launch Trailer Is Out, and November 19 Is Holding
Grand Theft Auto VI's launch trailer is out, and Leonida opens November 19.
Xbox Wire ran it with the date in the headline. That's 27 days from the trailer's release. The game it follows, GTA V, sold 230 million copies across 13 years and three console generations, per IGN.
IGN puts its revenue at over $10 billion. No pressure.
The context: In fairness, a launch trailer this close to release is a good sign the date sticks. But the real test isn't the trailer. It's beating a game that, as IGN puts it, still outsells most games every few months.
