PULSE GAMINGGTA 6 Reportedly Needs Newest PS5 Firmware
Sony just patched PS5 again, and GTA 6 reportedly needs it.
It's firmware 14.22, out November 2, and the patch notes only mention security fixes. That's 11 days after 14.20, as jailbreakers chase every new version.
Here's the catch. Push Square says GTA 6 reportedly won't boot without it, citing a tracker of PS Store data.
The verdict: We think Sony's right to lock this down, and it costs you one download. IGN warns a jailbreak on GTA 6's firmware could mean piracy on PS5, even PC.
