Enshrouded, Call Of Duty Explode On Steam This Week

These games just exploded on Steam this week, ranked by places climbed on the most-played chart.

Colony sim RimWorld rose 14 spots to 76 on its new Waylith Engine news. Smart long-term move. Battlefield 6 jumped 17 spots to 20 thanks to a full-game Steam free trial. Smart recruiting.

DayZ climbed 18 spots to 63 as its Badlands expansion landed. This survival veteran refuses to die. Free-to-play skate. rose 21 spots to 97 with its Curse of Morg event. Fun seasonal hook.

Call of Duty surged 36 spots to 17 with Modern Warfare 4 early access. Expected, still massive. Enshrouded's 1.0 launch rocketed it into the top 100 at 35, peaking at 102,491 players. Monster debut.

The climb that matters: Enshrouded wins because it came from nowhere: off the chart entirely to number 35 in one week. That's not a returning crowd; that's a whole new audience showing up.
