PULSE GAMINGEdgerunners 2: Kojima Returns In Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2
Hideo Kojima is reprising his Cyberpunk 2077 role in the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2.
He returns as Hideyoshi Oshima, the braindance director players met at Konpeki Plaza. CD Projekt Red confirmed it on X, and Kojima called it a cameo appearance.
Season two debuts on Netflix on October 20, 2026.
Our read: Oshima was an easy-to-miss moment in the 2020 game, tucked into a quest. Bringing him back rewards the players who found him and shows the anime and game still share one Night City.
